Managers and employees alike tend to be afraid of evaluation interviews because of the criticism or salary negotiations that take place there. In consultation sessions, teachers and parents alike pile up walls of defense and justifications. In this way &#8211; and this way only &#8211; a personal and collective progress, a good, successful development is possible. <\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Because so a definitive, maximally good option is selected from the many available. So this is exactly why conflicts are good.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>How come that we still consider them as bad?<\/h2>\n<p>Because the way we learn to deal with them is different from the one described above.\u00a0Whether in kindergarten, school, college, public authorities, job, mostly also in families:<\/p>\n<p>Where we learn and practice social behaviors, we learn to deal with conflicts in <strong>fundamental<\/strong> ways (&#8220;Those are the rules.&#8221;), <strong>qua status<\/strong> (&#8220;It&#8217;s my right to have the say!&#8221;) or <strong>by edict<\/strong> (&#8220;And that&#8217;s that!&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>We compulsively command and impose our will. <strong>With a short-term view.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>This is how we learn throughout our lives<\/h2>\n<p><strong>that status, authority, technocratic procedures, and egos are more important and more successful as a strategy than focusing on a collaborative solution or goal that is negotiated and decided jointly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are learning that whoever has power is not only capable of creating facts in this way. But that this is also completely normal.<\/p>\n<p>Even if that has little to do with resolving a disagreement issue. Rather, it is naked violence.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>While violence or coercion<\/h2>\n<p>in contentious situations IS sometimes necessary to show limits and protect yourself.
